At Maravu Plantation Resort, we are immensely popular with guests who dream in underwater colors of blue, yellow, pink and orange. But we know that not everyone who loves the sea wants to be too submerged within it. That's why we offer snorkeling to those guests who want to do more than get their feet wet but are not comfortable getting in over their heads.

Snorkeling adventures can be the province of just about anyone. Snorkeling is easy, safe, and a wonderful way to get a glimpse into the extraordinary life that goes on just off-shore of the Garden Island. Fiji is considered the soft-coral capital of the world--and many feel that the examples found just off the shores of Taveuni are what allows Fiji as a whole to enjoy that title.

You are welcome to bring your own snorkeling equipment, but you don't have to. We carry all the equipment you need, in all sizes. You're invited to enjoy free snorkeling (and free equipment!) just off the shores of our beach. Or, you can take advantage of the many guided snorkeling tours. These boat-led tours take you to sparkling off-shore spots for the very best snorkeling sights.
