Maravu Plantation Resort is a genuine plantation. We have our own coconut groves and organic gardens filled with banana trees, papaya, mango, pineapples and other exotic fruits. Imagine having a fresh fruit bowl where the fruit really is fresh--a pineapple picked less than an hour before. Not only do we grow all of our fruits and vegetables in the rich Maravu earth, but also our entire selection of herbs.

"Fresh fish" takes on a whole new meaning at Maravu. Here, too, the steaming Wahoo fish laid before you in a lemon and caper sauce is not simply thawed, but actually caught that very morning. The colors and tastes explode. Life tastes different here.

We also have a fiercely impressive wine list--but our choices are not picked simply for their "oooh, impressive" qualities. Rather, all of our wines are chosen for their specific abilities to enhance and underscore the delicate flavors of the foods we prepare. However, we're quite proud of our collection of house wines, featuring quality wines from Australia, South Australia, New Zealand and France, in varietals ranging from chardonnay to cabernet sauvignon, from rose to sparkling.
