This is one of the reasons that you'll find no phones in your bures at Maravu Plantation Resort. Nor will you find a television. Yes, there's a stereo. Yes, there's a beautifully stocked mini-bar. Yes, your bure has electricity. You don't need a phone. And if you're striving for the most romantic vacation possible, you don't really want one, either.

Naturally, if you need to make or receive a call, then you may do so up at our central building. There you can make your phone calls, send and receive faxes, and handle computer business, if necessary. But unless you're here on business, we hope that you'll find a way to separate yourself from that world. After all, how can your focus on the romance you say you want here, when your mind remains tethered to the office?

But that's all we'll say on that subject. From the time you arrive until the time you depart, our focus will be on you so that your focus can remain on your romantic vacation.
